Base Salary
$185k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Productionize, launch, and operate AI-based technology integrations in Cribl’s core products.
- Partner with product and design leaders to prototype and experiment with new AI features.
- Develop AI agent-driven product experiences and integrate models, tools, and external data sources into reliable product systems.
- Stay current with the latest AI technologies and trends.
- Participate in standby, on-call, or off-hours duties.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience building AI features end to end in production.
- Full-stack experience designing and scaling React-based UIs and backend services or APIs, with strong backend and systems expertise.
- Deep expertise in TypeScript or JavaScript and experience with a backend language or runtime such as Node.js, Go, or Java.
- Professional experience building AI agent-driven product experiences involving conversational interfaces, tool calling, RAG, prompt engineering, evaluations, guardrails, or agent orchestration.
- Professional experience with Model Context Protocols, agent frameworks, orchestration layers, and external tools and data sources in LLM-based systems.
- Machine learning experience, preferably in applied settings where models or AI systems were shipped, integrated, evaluated, or operated in production.
- Familiarity with data and infrastructure patterns for AI systems, including databases, APIs, observability, and production integrations.
- Ability to solve problems from first principles, make sound engineering trade-offs, and drive work independently through ambiguity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for explaining complex technical topics to cross-functional stakeholders in remote or distributed environments.
