Base Salary
$152k - $282k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a next-generation Resource Manager and AI developer tools for efficient, secure, and policy-compliant data access across hybrid environments.
- Lead the design of scalable, event-driven microservices for resource management.
- Build and enhance tools for workflow orchestration, model management, observability, and operational efficiency.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural decisions for AI infrastructure.
- Collaborate with Product owners, TPMs, and Compliance teams on machine learning model development lifecycle experiences.
- Improve system reliability, performance, monitoring, and incident management practices.
- Own critical platform initiatives from design through operation and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Eight years of professional software development experience, or six years with an advanced degree.
- Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems in cloud environments.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Go, or Python.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and cloud-native development practices.
- Expertise with distributed systems technologies such as Kafka, Cassandra, ClickHouse, or MongoDB.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, gRPC, Spring, and microservices architecture.
- Experience building infrastructure, tooling, or platforms supporting machine learning and AI workloads.
- Experience integrating with AI/ML frameworks or pipelines such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or ONNX.
- Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack.
- Deep expertise in Java Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful API design.
- Understanding of data governance, compliance, and access control in distributed systems.
- Ability to lead complex technical initiatives and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
