Responsibilities
- Break larger projects into tasks, deliver them in phases, and collaborate with teammates to meet delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics during ideation and technical decision-making.
- Design and build scalable systems and data pipelines for consumer credit reporting.
- Create and monitor metrics, escalate issues when needed, and support operational, availability, and on-call efforts.
- Participate in team growth and development activities, including interviewing.
Requirements
- At least 1.5 years of experience as a software engineer.
- Experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems.
- Proficiency in Python or Kotlin.
- Familiarity with distributed systems, AWS, MySQL, and Spark.
- Ability to translate business scenarios into solutions spanning multiple software components.
- Ability to write clear, well-tested, and extensible code.
- Comfort navigating large codebases, debugging others’ code, and providing code review feedback.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with a global engineering team.
