Responsibilities
- Design and develop product features from functional specifications using Python-led full-stack engineering.
- Build front-end, back-end, APIs, data layers, third-party integrations, and AI model capabilities.
- Develop and integrate vector databases, RAG models, LLMs/SLMs, agentic AI workflows, and AI model operations pipelines.
- Create APIs, microservices, data integrations, and machine learning model implementations.
- Deploy applications to Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud infrastructure and implement version-controlled delivery pipelines.
- Perform techno-functional quality assurance and automate testing using Python, Excel/VBA, or other suitable tools.
- Partner with architects and application teams to deliver secure solutions across sprints, testing, and hypercare.
- Mentor junior technical analysts and testers, coach team members, and conduct code reviews.
Requirements
- 4-8 years of technical source-code development experience spanning design leadership, hands-on development, and technical leadership.
- Experience in a risk domain such as enterprise risk, operational risk, internal controls, internal audit, third-party risk, financial risk, banking, capital markets, wealth, or asset management.
- Deep AI engineering, AI design, and AI adoption experience with vector databases, Python AI frameworks, RAG, LLMs/SLMs, agentic AI integration, workflows, model operations, and pipelines.
- Strong Python backend development experience, including Django or FastAPI, API creation, microservices, data integration, data structures, and algorithms.
- Working knowledge of cloud application deployment using Azure, AWS, or GCP, along with version control using Git.
- Experience implementing machine learning models with ML Ops and AI model operations.
- Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and/or NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Front-end experience with Angular, React, or similar technologies is preferred.
- MEAN or MERN stack, Node.js, Power BI or similar BI platforms, cloud certifications, and AI/ML certifications are preferred.
