Responsibilities
- Design and develop product features from functional specifications using efficient, optimized source code.
- Lead Python-based full-stack development across front-end, back-end, APIs, data layers, third-party integrations, and AI models.
- Build and integrate agentic AI workflows, RAG models, LLM/SLM solutions, vector databases, and AI/ML operations pipelines.
- Make technology-stack and API decisions while balancing technical quality and product time to market.
- Perform techno-functional quality assurance and automate testing using Python, Excel/VBA, or other suitable tools.
- Partner with architects and application teams to deliver secure solutions and provide support through sprints, testing, and hypercare.
- Conduct code reviews and coach or mentor team members, junior technical analysts, and testers.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of technical source-code development experience spanning design leadership, hands-on development, and technical leadership.
- Experience in an enterprise risk, operational risk, internal controls, internal audit, third-party risk, financial risk, banking, capital markets, wealth management, or asset management domain.
- Deep experience with AI engineering and design, including vector databases, Python AI frameworks, RAG models, LLM/SLM solutions, agentic AI integration, workflows, model operations, and pipelines.
- Strong Python back-end development experience, including Django or FastAPI, microservices, data integration, data structures, and algorithms.
- Working knowledge of deploying applications on Azure, AWS, or GCP and implementing version-controlled delivery pipelines.
- Experience implementing Python-driven machine learning models and AI model operations.
- Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and/or NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred experience includes Angular or React, MEAN or MERN stack, Node.js, Power BI, and relevant cloud, AI, or ML certifications.
