Base Salary
$207k - $283k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead threat modeling and security reviews for products and cloud infrastructure, identifying attack surfaces and developing scalable mitigations.
- Build automation, policy-as-code, and security tooling that integrates security into development workflows.
- Design and implement secure baselines for cloud resources and Kubernetes infrastructure.
- Drive vulnerability management and remediation, including prioritization, mitigations, and preventative controls across software supply chains.
- Extend detection and response capabilities by identifying malicious activity, triaging alerts, and investigating and remediating incidents.
- Extend DevSecOps and Product Security practices to Wiz’s FedRAMP environment.
- Partner with engineering and operations teams to deliver secure-by-design solutions.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in security engineering or security operations in cloud environments.
- Experience with AWS cloud security, or equivalent Azure and GCP experience with some AWS experience.
- Experience with cloud-native Kubernetes services such as EKS, GKE, or AKS and strong container security principles.
- Experience securing IAM and cloud identities at scale.
- Experience leading technical security reviews, threat modeling, and translating findings into actionable security controls.
- Practical understanding of web application security concepts such as OWASP Top-10.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm, or Pulumi.
- Experience developing automation and tooling in Python, Go, Shell, HCL, or Rego.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and/or equivalent job experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with remote, globally distributed teams and organizations developing software or operating managed infrastructure and technology services.
- Experience with CNAPP, CSPM, or CIEM solutions.
Benefits
- Full-time position with bonus, equity, and benefits in addition to base salary.
- US base salary range of $207,000–$283,000 USD, with pay varying by location, skills, experience, and education or training.
