Responsibilities
- Own SAP SD module architecture, configuration approach, estimates, sequencing, and deliverable approvals.
- Configure SAP SD core processes including organizational structure, sales document types, item and schedule line categories, copy control, delivery, billing, and document flow.
- Lead end-to-end order-to-cash design across ordering, delivery, billing, pricing, master data, and cross-module dependencies.
- Manage integration and issue diagnosis across SD, Finance, MM, Inventory, warehouse execution, EWM, and TM.
- Deliver the module workstream against milestones, quality gates, test evidence, defect containment, and cutover requirements.
- Build reusable AI prompts and accelerators, define validation standards, curate SAP Joule grounding content, and specify Joule agent use cases.
- Lead, allocate work to, mentor, and review the output of a small delivery team.
- Lead business workshops, manage stakeholder relationships, present options and risks, and defend committed scope.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience on SAP SD or the primary skill.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Deep hands-on SAP SD core configuration experience in S/4HANA or ECC.
- Strong order-to-cash capability across order, delivery, billing, and pricing.
- Strong integration knowledge across SD, FI, MM, Inventory, and warehouse execution.
- Demonstrated end-to-end diagnosis of order-to-cash failures across configuration, data, and integration layers.
- Current hands-on configuration experience with no sustained break from build activity in the last 18 months.
- Demonstrated AI-assisted delivery adoption through prompts, accelerators, automation, or codified playbooks adopted by others, with validation of generated output.
- Working knowledge of SAP Joule for Consultants and the ability to specify Joule agent use cases; proficiency may be achieved within 90 days.
- End-to-end ownership of an SAP module workstream, including estimation, milestones, defect management, integration testing, and cutover.
- Leadership of a small delivery team and direct ownership of business stakeholder relationships.
- Workstream ownership across at least two full-lifecycle SAP implementations or large rollouts.
- Preferred experience includes SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition order-to-cash scope items, advanced returns, ATP, condition contracts, ECC-to-S/4HANA SD data conversion, and the Fiori order-to-cash application set.
