Base Salary
$120k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop solutions that build and improve cloud services running over distributed systems.
- Develop new features for Microsoft Cloud internal infrastructure software.
- Maintain infrastructure services and deliver regular code updates to improve performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine user requirements for technical scenarios.
- Act as a Designated Responsible Individual, guide engineers through operational playbooks, participate in on-call monitoring, alert stakeholders, and initiate service restoration actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field plus 4+ years of technical engineering experience coding in C, C++, C#, or Java, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree plus 6+ years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree plus 8+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
