Responsibilities
- Develop software features and enhancements across front-end, backend, integration, and data layers under senior-engineer guidance.
- Build and maintain APIs, services, and user-facing applications supporting credit investment workflows.
- Participate in unit testing, integration testing, release validation, deployment support, debugging, and production support.
- Assist with cloud-native, containerized, database, data delivery, reporting, and enterprise-system integration solutions.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including source control, CI/CD pipelines, release processes, documentation, and support runbooks.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, business analysts, Investment Technology stakeholders, and business partners.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or a related field is required.
- 1–2 years of software engineering experience is required.
- Experience developing software applications through coursework, internships, co-ops, academic projects, or professional roles.
- Knowledge of Java or similar object-oriented programming languages.
- Preferred knowledge of React, TypeScript, or modern front-end development frameworks.
- Basic understanding of relational and non-relational databases, APIs, web services, and application integration concepts.
- Familiarity with Git, automated testing, CI/CD concepts, cloud computing, Kubernetes, containers, or DevOps tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, attention-to-detail, ownership, and willingness-to-learn skills.
- Interest in financial services, investment management, credit, lending, or alternative asset management technology is preferred; financial services experience is not required.
