C# / .NET Developer – Front Office, Electronic & Low Latency Trading Systems

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance C#/.NET applications for electronic trading, real-time risk, and analytics systems.
  • Process market data, pricing, orders, analytics, and risk calculations in real time.
  • Implement concurrency, parallel programming, asynchronous, and multithreaded solutions for performance-sensitive systems.
  • Participate in system design, architecture discussions, technical specifications, sprint planning, estimations, and technical reviews.
  • Optimize latency, throughput, memory usage, scalability, and system robustness.
  • Contribute to design, development, testing, release, monitoring, and production support activities.
  • Provide third-line production support and participate in occasional out-of-hours production releases.
  • Collaborate with developers, quantitative teams, infrastructure teams, trading desks, and risk teams.

Requirements

  • Strong experience as a C#/.NET Developer in performance-sensitive environments.
  • Proven experience with real-time or high-throughput systems.
  • Strong understanding of concurrency, parallelism, asynchronous and multithreaded models, and memory optimization.
  • Experience working in Front Office, Trading, or Risk IT environments.
  • Strong production mindset, system ownership, communication, and structured problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with electronic trading, low-latency environments, distributed, grid, or event-driven systems is valued.
  • Experience with asset classes such as Equities, Fixed Income, Commodities, FX, or Derivatives is valued.
  • Familiarity with messaging middleware such as Kafka or Solace, FIX or other market connectivity protocols, and interaction with C++ low-latency or HFT-adjacent components is valued.
