Responsibilities
- Apply site reliability principles covering availability, latency, performance, efficiency, change management, monitoring, emergency response, and capacity planning.
- Support internal systems and end users to ensure business continuity and fulfill service requests.
- Lead service reliability, scalability, and performance initiatives for assigned products.
- Review deployment and operational environments, troubleshoot infrastructure-wide issues, reduce failure, expand monitoring, and manage technical operations.
- Advise product teams on DevSecOps and security solutions that meet security standards.
- Automate environment, service, infrastructure, and cybersecurity management through corrective, adaptive, and preventative maintenance.
- Apply Agile and DevOps practices and keep current with market-standard technologies.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience implementing DevOps and performing systems administration.
- Experience with Linux operating systems and database administration.
- Hands-on experience with systems monitoring and alerting tools such as Splunk, Logstash, Grafana, or AppDynamics.
- Hands-on knowledge of build automation and continuous integration and delivery tools including Git, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience deploying and troubleshooting highly available, secure, and reliable services.
- Proficiency in Bash, Groovy, and Python scripting.
- Experience with Terraform and Ansible is a plus.
- Cloud computing experience with Amazon AWS or Azure Cloud is a plus.
