Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deliver high-quality software meeting functional, performance, and security requirements.
- Own assigned software deliverables from design and implementation through testing and delivery.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues across the full software stack and implement durable fixes.
- Collaborate with peers, product managers, QA, DevOps, and other teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Document technical designs, implementation details, and system dependencies.
- Identify system and process inefficiencies and implement targeted improvements.
- Mentor junior engineers through pairing, feedback, and knowledge sharing.
- Communicate progress, blockers, and tradeoffs while supporting broader department and company strategy.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as C#, Go, Python, or TypeScript, with willingness to learn the team’s stack.
- Ability to write clean, testable, maintainable production code.
- Solid understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional engineering teams using agile methodologies.
- Preferred experience with Elixir or other functional programming languages, Rust, C++, Java, or Objective-C.
- Preferred experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, systems or infrastructure-level programming, or IT, endpoint management, or enterprise software.
