Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and testing client applications, web applications, and backend services under senior engineer guidance.
- Write, debug, and document code using languages and frameworks such as C#/.NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Angular.
- Support APIs and services for real-time, high-throughput identity workflows.
- Participate in code reviews, stand-ups, sprint planning, and team design discussions.
- Improve system reliability, test coverage, and observability.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and containerized development environments.
- Complete and present a scoped internship project to the team.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Foundational programming skills in at least one modern language such as C#, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design.
- Familiarity with Git and basic SQL.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and willingness to learn.
- Coursework or project experience with React and/or Angular.
- Exposure to REST APIs, web services, or real-time systems such as WebSockets.
- Familiarity with AWS, Docker, or CI/CD concepts.
- Prior internship, co-op, hackathon, or open-source contribution experience is beneficial.
- Interest in identity, biometrics, security, or public-sector technology.
- Experience or interest in AI tools such as Claude, Codex, or AWS Kiro.
Benefits
- Hybrid role requiring the ability to travel to the office.
- Internship runs from May 17, 2027, through August 6, 2027.
- US hourly rate is $25.
