Responsibilities
- Develop and test algorithms.
- Create user interface components and GUIs.
- Write scripts supporting large-scale defense and homeland security systems.
- Collaborate on small technical teams under the guidance of experienced staff.
- Present accomplishments and lessons learned at the conclusion of the program.
Requirements
- Be at least 16 years old.
- Be a U.S. citizen.
- Completed coursework in computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, or a related field is desired.
- Programming experience in Java, C++, Rust, Python, and/or TypeScript is desired.
- Familiarity with GUI design and implementation, web development, modern collaborative software tools, data structures, and algorithms is desired.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are desired.
- Prior quantitative research experience is desired.
