Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, developing, and testing cloud-native applications and serverless services using AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
- Write maintainable code in TypeScript/Node.js, Python, and/or Java for data and task automation.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate systems and data sources to improve data quality and governance.
- Contribute to front-end features using React.
- Collaborate with team members to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Debug and resolve software defects across the stack.
- Help maintain CI/CD pipelines such as GitLab and follow infrastructure-as-code practices using AWS CDK.
- Document software features and functionality and stay current with cloud, serverless, and data integration technologies.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or C++.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and building or consuming REST APIs.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, teamwork, independent-work, and task-management abilities.
- Preferred: exposure to AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CDK, or CloudFormation.
- Preferred: experience with React, relational databases, SQL, PostgreSQL, Boomi, Git/GitLab, or CI/CD workflows.
- Previous software development internship or project experience is preferred.
Benefits
- Hybrid internship from May 17, 2027 through August 6, 2027.
- Must be able to travel to the office.
- US hourly rate is $25.
