Base Salary
$116k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and integrate embedded software and associated components for professional audio products.
- Develop hardware drivers, embedded applications, audio and control networking, networking protocols, and related software using C++ and C.
- Contribute to product architecture, software design, real-time system modeling, use cases, and implementation in a cross-functional engineering team.
- Estimate, organize, document, review, and debug software development work.
- Perform unit, integration, and system testing of software components and systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Electrical Engineering; a master’s degree is a plus.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated C++ and/or C experience with object-oriented design, analysis, and programming.
- Experience with networking protocols including Ethernet, IP, TCP/UDP, Wi-Fi, and other wireless protocols; network security exposure is a plus.
- Understanding of operating system concepts, embedded software development environments, and real-time operating systems such as Embedded Linux, FreeRTOS, or VxWorks.
- Experience with embedded system architectures, development environments, debugging, software version control, and software release processes.
- Hardware driver development and hardware debugging exposure is a plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, attention-to-detail, and quality-focused skills.
