Responsibilities
- Build and maintain proprietary exchange trading technology from market-data interpretation through order dispatch.
- Design software systems and infrastructure for high-performance, uninterrupted automated trading.
- Develop in modern C++ and Python, while branching into FPGA and GPU programming when appropriate.
- Investigate and resolve time-sensitive issues around exchange schedules and trading-system readiness.
- Undertake projects that improve the trading system or unlock new trading opportunities.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of modern C++ from C++11 onward.
- Strong understanding of computer operation and performance, including caching, paging, system calls, CPU execution pipelines, out-of-order execution, and branch prediction.
- Familiarity with algorithms and data structures, including performance trade-offs and reasoning about algorithmic runtime.
- Practical experience designing and implementing software systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with the Linux command line and common tools is a plus but not required.
- A computer science degree is not required, and prior finance knowledge is not required.
