Base Salary
$121k - $173k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop APIs and microservices for BaaS onboarding and partner integration.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to define requirements and deliver robust solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and promote engineering best practices.
- Develop monitoring, alerting, and observability systems while supporting SLA compliance.
- Participate in incident response and root cause analysis to improve system reliability.
- Create architectural and design documentation and evaluate emerging technologies.
- Refactor and extend existing systems to fix defects and deliver new functionality.
- Build durable, flexible, and configurable systems for mission- and revenue-critical customer-facing applications.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including at least one year in a technical leadership role.
- Experience developing secure, standards-compliant code across multiple platforms.
- Proficiency in several of C#, .NET, and SQL, with hands-on cloud experience.
- Experience with Azure native services including APIM, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Key Vault, as well as container technologies and caching frameworks.
- Understanding of RESTful API design, OAuth2, and OpenAPI specifications.
- Familiarity with event-driven and microservice architecture patterns, including Service Bus and Event Hubs.
- Hands-on experience implementing observability dashboards and platforms such as Datadog and Grafana.
- Deep knowledge of Git, DevOps, Agile Scrum, security best practices, PCI DSS, and SOC 2 compliance standards.
- Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and meet the stated location requirement.
- Preferred: fintech or embedded finance experience, partner onboarding and SLA management familiarity, and open-source or technical publication contributions.

- Targeted base salary of $121,400 to $173,300 per year.
