Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and lead comprehensive validation strategies spanning the hardware-to-cloud product journey.
- Develop Hardware-in-the-Loop automation frameworks for firmware driver, middleware, and application layers.
- Debug embedded-system issues with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol sniffers, and other hardware lab equipment.
- Validate and stress-test RS-485, Ethernet/IP, BLE, NFC, UWB, UART, SPI, I2C, and TCP/IP communications.
- Test network stacks, TLS/X.509 certificate handling, device connectivity, security, and data integrity across deployment environments.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with hardware and software teams to improve product testability during design.
- Lead validation strategy as the technical authority for next-generation access-control firmware.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 7 years of experience in firmware development, embedded-systems engineering, or firmware validation, including at least 3 years in a lead or principal capacity.
- Expert-level Python proficiency for developing complex, scalable test-automation frameworks from scratch.
- Deep understanding of C/C++, RTOS-based architectures, interrupt-driven logic, and production-level firmware.
- Strong electronics background, including the ability to read schematics and understand embedded-system electrical constraints.
- Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and digital multimeters.
- Advanced knowledge of RS-485, UART, I2C, SPI, TCP/IP, and other wired and wireless interfaces.
- Proven experience implementing Hardware-in-the-Loop testing.
- Legal authorization to work indefinitely in the United States; work permit sponsorship is unavailable.
