Base Salary
$220k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build backend services and APIs for patient booking, clinician routing, logistics, and device integrations.
- Ship full-stack product features spanning data modeling, business logic, UI, and user flows when working full-stack.
- Solve operational challenges involving scheduling, dispatch, safety checks, and error prevention at scale.
- Integrate reliably and securely with external health systems, telemedicine platforms, and medical devices.
- Partner with product, data, operations, and clinical teams to turn real-world problems into shipped software.
- Own 0-to-1 projects, make architectural decisions, evolve engineering practices, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building and scaling backend or full-stack production systems.
- Experience designing APIs, data models, and services for user-facing products.
- Experience leading projects or pods from architecture and planning through delivery and iteration.
- Experience shipping features independently and with product, data, operations, or design partners.
- Experience making technical decisions that balance execution speed, scalability, and maintainability.
- Experience in startups, high-growth teams, or 0-to-1 product environments.
- Preferred experience in health technology, logistics, operationally complex products, forecasting, routing, scheduling, inventory management, high-volume data, data platforms, large-scale processing, or Series A–C startups.
- Familiarity with regulated environments, HIPAA, security, and privacy best practices is advantageous.
