Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance real-time software applications for medical technology products.
- Lead software design activities and apply software architecture principles and design patterns.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements through verification and release.
- Collaborate with system engineers, QA, product management, and regulatory stakeholders.
- Drive code quality through code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain deployed products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least five years of hands-on C++ development experience.
- At least five years of hands-on C# development experience.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture and design patterns.
- Experience developing real-time software systems and .NET desktop applications.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Windows OS and proficiency with Visual Studio.
- Experience developing and debugging multithreaded software applications.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar tools.
- Preferred: experience developing, deploying, and supporting scalable cloud-based applications and services in enterprise environments.
- Preferred: medical device or healthcare industry experience.
- Preferred: knowledge of regulated software development environments and procedures.
