Responsibilities
- Secure the underlying internal platform infrastructure and integrate security throughout the platform lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain vulnerability-management platforms and continuous-compliance tooling for Global Security.
- Develop, monitor, and maintain Kubernetes clusters across several continents.
- Maintain CI/CD infrastructure and ensure services are deployed with high availability.
- Collaborate with Global Security, PMS teams, Internal Platform, Experience teams, and Legal on compliance, risk management, secure migrations, encryption, networking, and data protection.
- Respond to escalated security incidents such as DDoS and abuse cases, resolve urgent issues, and optimize system performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Support team members and provide guidance on infrastructure-related application security.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience related to security.
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes and securing container orchestration platforms.
- Experience maintaining and developing security policies for CNI or service mesh technologies such as Calico or Cilium.
- Experience scanning for and managing vulnerabilities at scale.
- Experience with HashiCorp Vault and Terraform.
- Experience building scalable, secure, production high-availability environments using AWS.
- Knowledge of network security services such as AWS WAF or Cloudflare.
- Ability to develop automation tools or scripts in Bash or Go.
- English communication skills at a minimum B2 level.
- Ability to influence stakeholders on security and best practices.
