Responsibilities
- Define test strategies, test plans, release gate criteria, and quality risk assessments.
- Lead QA teams and outsourced testing vendors while tracking quality KPIs.
- Provide go/no-go release recommendations and facilitate defect triage and post-incident root-cause analysis.
- Oversee functional, API, mobile, and WeChat mini-program testing and promote automation in CI/CD workflows.
- Ensure products comply with China privacy, data security, and payment regulations.
- Coordinate quality delivery with product, engineering, MarTech, and global/APAC stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of software testing experience, including at least 2 years as a QA Lead with team and vendor management experience.
- Hands-on Agile experience and proficiency with Jira, Zephyr, Postman, and SQL.
- Familiarity with Playwright, Appium, and Selenium.
- Fluent written English is required; fluent spoken English is preferred for cross-timezone global meetings.
- Hospitality membership or booking platform experience, performance testing experience, and Alibaba Cloud or AWS knowledge are preferred.
- Experience using log-capturing tools such as Charles or Fiddler.
