Responsibilities
- Review system specifications and user stories to understand software requirements.
- Design and maintain comprehensive test documentation and robust test cases.
- Prepare software and hardware testing environments.
- Perform manual functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, log, track, and re-test defects through resolution.
- Validate test results against acceptance criteria and user expectations.
- Communicate test progress, results, and issues to relevant stakeholders.
- Document testing reports and provide feedback on usability, performance, and software quality.
- Assess current QA processes, identify improvements, and adapt workflows to meet project timelines.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of the software development life cycle and testing methodologies.
- Experience with bug-tracking and test-management systems.
- Understanding of functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Knowledge of Agile testing practices and environments.
- Experience with tools such as TestRail, Zephyr, or similar.
- Basic understanding of scripting or programming languages.
- Basic experience with Unix platforms.
- Upper-Intermediate English would be a plus.
- Strong collaboration, prioritization, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
