Responsibilities
- Design and implement HL7 v2 transformation pipelines for message types across RIS and EHR systems.
- Build and maintain integration connectors for imaging center RIS systems.
- Architect fault-tolerant message queuing and delivery infrastructure.
- Develop interfaces for demand-side EHR integrations.
- Build and maintain REST API integrations with third-party referral sources.
- Own the observability layer for the integration infrastructure.
Requirements
- Proven ability to integrate with legacy systems not designed for modern interoperability.
- Experience with integration middleware or engine patterns.
- Proficiency in at least one backend language used in high-reliability integration contexts.
- Familiarity with RESTful API integration patterns.
- Strong operational instincts and a proactive approach to failure modes.
- Deep expertise in HL7 v2 message processing is preferred.
