Base Salary

$155k - $215k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop C++ flight software requirements, designs, code, unit tests, and requirements-based test cases under DO-178C procedures.
  • Develop Python-based software integration test cases.
  • Work on numerical optimization, networking, protocol drivers, memory interfaces, and software-to-FPGA interface layers.
  • Develop embedded radar software supporting aircraft demonstrations, higher-level capabilities, product certification, and market delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience developing C or C++.
  • At least 3 years of experience translating and optimizing complex mathematical algorithms into performant, deterministic embedded code.
  • Hands-on experience developing driver-level software for software-to-FPGA interfaces and managing high-bandwidth data pipelines.
  • Preferred: 6 or more years of professional C or C++ development experience.
  • Preferred: experience with radar algorithms, radar signal processing, radar-system integration, and testing.
  • Preferred: experience in a DO-178 software development environment and a thorough understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, and networking.
