Responsibilities
- Support application build, test, deployment, and release pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Manage and support applications hosted in on-premise and hybrid environments.
- Perform log analysis, shell scripting, service monitoring, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis support.
- Assist with automation initiatives that improve deployment efficiency, operational stability, and repeatability.
- Apply DevSecOps practices, including secure credential handling, access management, vulnerability remediation, and compliance requirements.
- Monitor application and infrastructure health, investigate alerts, and support platform reliability.
- Use GitHub Copilot and Microsoft Copilot to improve productivity, documentation, automation, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, database, security, and business teams.
Requirements
- At least 1–3 years of experience in DevOps in on-premise or cloud environments or a related technical role.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and source control systems such as GitHub, with hands-on experience using GitHub Actions or other CI/CD tools.
- Experience with container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Basic Linux/Unix knowledge, including commands, file systems, process management, and shell scripting.
- Understanding of DevOps principles, software delivery lifecycle, and release management concepts.
- Exposure to Oracle databases or relational database concepts and SQL fundamentals.
- Basic understanding of security best practices, including access controls, password management, and secure software delivery.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and learning skills.
- Ability to work effectively within Agile/Scrum teams.
- Exposure to cloud platforms and Infrastructure as Code concepts, including Terraform or Ansible, is preferred.
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools is preferred.
- Experience using AI-enabled developer tools such as GitHub Copilot is preferred.
