Responsibilities
- Write Python scripts to automate pre-sales workflows such as BOM generation, network diagramming, and RFP/RFI parsing.
- Build and maintain scripts for live zero-touch provisioning demonstrations and automated customer demo labs.
- Integrate Salesforce, CPQ, vendor portals, and internal lab hypervisors through APIs.
- Create infrastructure-as-code templates and manage automated demonstration portals and concurrent proofs of concept.
- Package solution designs as Git repositories, JSON payloads, and Ansible playbooks for implementation teams.
- Support network automation involving IP addressing, routing, firewalls, and telecom equipment.
- Use LLM APIs to automate technical RFP parsing and documentation generation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in network automation, scripting, DevOps, or a heavily automated systems engineering role.
- High proficiency in Python and strong knowledge of RESTful API integration, authentication, JSON, YAML, and XML.
- Hands-on experience with configuration management and provisioning tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Nornir.
- Experience using Git and collaborative platforms such as GitHub or GitLab.
- Experience integrating or building with Anthropic Claude or OpenAI APIs.
- Preferred qualifications include Cisco DevNet Associate, AWS Certified Developer, or HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate certifications.
- Experience with Jenkins or GitLab CI pipelines applied to network infrastructure.
- Understanding of the OSI model, IP subnetting, basic routing, and firewall functionality.
