Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable, secure, compliant multi-cloud platform solutions aligned with enterprise cloud strategy and governance.
- Define and enforce cloud security policies, guardrails, and compliance standards.
- Lead development and operation of shared cloud services, tools, infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and developer tooling.
- Provide architectural guidance to application delivery teams for secure and compliant cloud deployments.
- Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and incorporate suitable practices into the platform roadmap.
- Improve platform reliability, performance, cost efficiency, and developer experience.
- Develop architectural documentation, standards, and reference architectures.
- Mentor engineering teams and collaborate with engineering, security, business, and cloud technology stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing and operating enterprise-scale platforms on at least two major cloud providers, including network topology, identity management, and governance.
- Strong hands-on proficiency with Terraform, Bicep, or equivalent infrastructure-as-code tools and large-scale modular infrastructure codebases.
- Experience building shared platform services, CI/CD pipelines, and developer tooling for secure self-service application delivery.
- Experience with secure landing zones, platform automation, DevSecOps tooling, network connectivity, access management, privileged identity design, monitoring, security architecture, and high availability architecture.
- Ability to produce and communicate architectural designs, reference architectures, and technical roadmaps.
- Experience designing disaster recovery and backup scenarios with availability, RTO, and RPO calculations is preferred.
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring tooling across cloud environments is preferred.
- Expertise in technology selection using Architecture Decision Records and organizational standards is preferred.
- Proficiency in one or more of .NET, Java, Python, or Ruby is preferred.
- Strong stakeholder communication, influencing, and English-language skills.
