Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure.
- Lead complex platform engineering initiatives from concept through production delivery.
- Build and enhance Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform.
- Contribute to platform architecture, technical design, and engineering standards.
- Support production systems through incident response, root cause analysis, on-call rotations, and continuous improvement.
- Drive automation, tooling, observability, and operational toil reduction.
- Review code, mentor engineers, and promote engineering excellence.
- Use AI-assisted engineering tools responsibly while validating outputs and delivery quality.
Requirements
- Strong experience in platform engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure roles.
- Deep expertise in AWS services, networking, IAM, compute, storage, and cloud architecture.
- Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Hands-on experience with ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, GitOps practices, and deployment automation.
- Knowledge of security best practices including secrets management, least-privilege access, encryption, and vulnerability management.
- Experience designing highly available and resilient cloud-native solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and incident management skills.
- Experience mentoring engineers and conducting technical reviews.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Azure and multi-cloud environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization is preferred.
- Experience supporting ISO 27001, SOC 2, or similar compliance frameworks is preferred.
- Exposure to Python or Go development and AI-assisted engineering practices is preferred.
