Responsibilities
- Develop and implement test strategies and test cases for new and existing features.
- Design, write, and maintain automated UI and API test scripts.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide QA input from the beginning of the development cycle.
- Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution using bug-tracking tools such as Jira.
- Communicate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and report software health.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform regression testing and root cause analysis for production bugs.
- Suggest development process improvements to prevent defects.
Requirements
- Proven experience in software quality assurance, including manual and automated testing.
- Mandatory English proficiency.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, for automation.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
- Experience testing RESTful APIs with tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured.
- Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge for data validation and backend testing.
- Proficiency with Git and/or BitBucket.
- Strong ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and bug reports.
- Performance or load testing experience with tools such as JMeter or Locust is preferred.
- Knowledge of security or penetration testing principles is preferred.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
