Responsibilities
- Establish and document engineering standards across the Model Authoring pods and ensure new work conforms to them.
- Set and own technical direction for shared enablers, including model representation and persistence, the model registry, secure context access, and shared agentic infrastructure.
- Define and manage technical interfaces between Model Authoring and other technology teams.
- Work hands-on on the stream’s most complex and highest-risk engineering problems.
- Help define an AI-native approach to model development and software engineering, including appropriate use of agents and evidence for trust.
- Raise the technical bar across pods through design input, mentoring, and engineer development.
Requirements
- Experience working in an AI-native environment and using, introducing, or experimenting with AI or agentic tools in engineering workflows.
- Product-focused engineering experience with an understanding of users, customer pain points, and commercial outcomes.
- Proven experience setting technical direction and owning architecture in ambiguous domains without an established playbook.
- End-to-end ownership of a significant technical challenge or service, including the ability to explain trade-offs, contracts, and lessons learned.
- Demonstrated ability to influence across teams, handle challenge, listen to feedback, and persuade others.
- Experience working effectively across distributed teams and building relationships across Warsaw and London offices.
