Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain application modules using C#, .NET, Windows Forms, application services, and Oracle PL/SQL.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across multiple technologies and system integrations.
- Modernize legacy components, optimize Oracle queries and data models, and improve performance bottlenecks.
- Build and extend CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments.
- Use AI coding assistants to generate, understand, document, test, and modernize code while critically validating their output.
- Develop AI-supported quality gates for compliance, accessibility, performance, and security.
- Own deliverables from requirements through production, including testing and documentation.
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate with technical teams and healthcare end users.
- Work within applicable Canadian privacy standards for student records, including PIPEDA and provincial legislation.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of development experience with C#, .NET, Windows Forms, application services, and Oracle PL/SQL.
- Regular experience using AI-powered development tools and the ability to assess and validate AI-generated outputs.
- Strong object-oriented programming and algorithmic-thinking foundations.
- Ability to learn independently, adapt quickly, and work with complex systems and architectures.
- Strong communication, collaboration, customer focus, and solution-oriented thinking.
- Experience with Delphi, build and deployment pipelines, enterprise-grade B2B solutions, solution architecture and modeling, AI-enhanced product features, or AI model integration is preferred.
- Personal AI-related projects, open-source contributions, GitHub activity, and experimentation are valued.
- Knowledge of data integration and messaging standards such as HL7 v2 is preferred.
