Responsibilities
- Design and implement embedded software for devices and systems from requirements through production and commercial deployment.
- Register, schedule, order, track, and implement system and software requirements.
- Make software architectural decisions and design components aligned with the overall architecture.
- Review code and test results and perform requirements-based testing of new systems.
- Follow V-Model, ASPICE, and SDLC development processes.
- Manage problem resolution and customer-project change requests through closure.
- Analyze system and software requirements and coordinate internal requests, component integration, and system operation.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in embedded software development.
- Strong C/C++ programming skills.
- Automotive industry experience with CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet, UDS, or OBD networking and diagnostic protocols.
- Experience with AUTOSAR layer architecture and communication stacks.
- Experience with automotive product development and quality processes including A-SPICE, CMMI, and FMEA.
- Experience with real-time operating systems.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills and excellent English communication skills.
- Preferred experience with debuggers, oscilloscopes, CANoe, CANalyzer, Python, Perl, VB, multicore microcontrollers, emulators, simulators, debugging equipment, and test equipment.
- Japanese proficiency at N4 or N3 level is an advantage.
