Responsibilities
- Lead development of regional and global applications and provide technical oversight across systems and applications.
- Write, build, deploy, and test application components across application layers.
- Review technical solutions and contribute to conceptual models, system designs, and architectures.
- Provide technical analysis, resolve delivery issues, maintain application hygiene, and address risk and control items.
- Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, product managers, and operational users to deliver projects.
- Provide technical and functional expertise, mentor junior team members, and promote software development best practices.
- Assess and manage project, compliance, operational, and delivery risks.
Requirements
- 13+ years of experience designing, developing, and leading enterprise-grade applications.
- Strong expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Expertise in CI/CD automation using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks and with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.
- Expertise in SQL Server, including database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience with Kafka or MQ for event-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of API security, including OAuth2, JWT, and SSO.
- Strong technical leadership, architectural decision-making, people management, mentoring, and software development best-practice skills.
- Bachelor’s or university degree or equivalent experience required; master’s degree preferred.
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
