Responsibilities

Analyze and optimize existing Databricks notebooks, jobs, apps, pipelines, models, dashboards, and endpoints.
Develop AI-supported solutions, agents, automations, and models for business requirements.
Build and operate data pipelines, integrations, APIs, internal-system connections, and AI components.
Monitor, log, troubleshoot, and manage incidents for production-oriented solutions.
Ensure code quality, documentation, testability, maintainability, versioning, deployment, and operational standards.
Collaborate with product management, data engineering, IT architecture, security, platform, and governance teams.
Transform prototypes into robust, reusable, and scalable solutions.

Completed master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, AI/data science, physics, software engineering, or a comparable field.
Initial professional experience in data engineering, AI engineering, data science, and software development; financial-industry or regulated IT experience is advantageous.
Very strong knowledge of Python, Spark, and Databricks.
Experience with AI agents, LLM applications, RAG architectures, and modern AI workflows.
Practical experience building and operating data pipelines, automations, or AI/ML solutions.
Knowledge of Git, testing, code reviews, and CI/CD practices.
Analytical, structured, and independent working style with strong German and English skills.
