Base Salary
$130k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and release high-quality native iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
- Own product features end to end, from product discussions and technical design through implementation, testing, and release.
- Build reusable SwiftUI components and polished user experiences.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, testing, and release quality.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, AI, and Backend Engineering on customer-facing experiences.
- Contribute to the long-term architecture and engineering standards of Mercor’s mobile platform.
- Use modern AI coding tools to accelerate development while maintaining a high engineering bar.
- Solve customer problems and improve expert engagement and experience.
Requirements
- 2–5+ years of professional software engineering experience building production iOS applications.
- Strong proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI.
- Experience shipping production applications through the App Store.
- Strong understanding of modern mobile architecture and engineering best practices.
- Experience using modern AI development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Codex.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals in testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Strong product intuition and comfort building products that people use.
- Comfort working in fast-moving environments with evolving priorities.
- High ownership, curiosity, and a bias toward shipping.
