Responsibilities
- Develop the ARK Large Model Platform on Volcano Engine and research systematic solutions for large-model implementations across industries.
- Research, design, and develop computer and network software and specialized utility programs.
- Analyze user needs and apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical principles to create software solutions.
- Update software, enhance existing capabilities, and develop and direct software testing and validation procedures.
- Work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and define specifications and performance requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or higher in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited and reputable institution, with at least three years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with developing and operating distributed systems on Linux.
- Proficiency in at least two programming languages, such as Golang, Python, C, C++, Java, Scala, or JavaScript.
- Strong technical design and coding skills, with the ability to balance technical perspectives, product sense, hardware performance and stability, and team collaboration.
- Preferred experience or interest in machine-learning applications, LLM applications, dataset construction, fine-tuning, model inference and deployment, prompt engineering, retrieval augmentation, Kubernetes application development, microservices, service mesh, flow control, cloud storage, Terraform, or related technologies.
- ACM ICPC or Codeforces competition experience is preferred.
