Responsibilities
- Own AI-driven software solutions end-to-end from problem discovery and stakeholder interviews through design, development, deployment, and support.
- Design, build, and operate cloud-native systems with Python backend services, Angular or React frontends, and Azure infrastructure.
- Collaborate with data science teams to integrate models, optimization algorithms, and AI agents into production systems.
- Analyze business workflows and user requirements, identify process gaps, and translate requirements into technical designs and development projects.
- Develop application architecture, database components, scripts, user interfaces, reports, APIs, and web services.
- Perform application documentation, testing, troubleshooting, feasibility analysis, technical support, and user training.
- Lead data validation and quality activities and monitor user acceptance testing with project teams and end users.
- Perform project management activities including estimation, sequencing, dependencies, critical path analysis, resource assignment, and issue resolution.
- Research and recommend technologies while ensuring application standards, controls, audit trails, and production readiness.
Requirements
- Preferred bachelor's or associate degree with 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven full-stack development experience with strong Python development skills.
- Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure and cloud-native system design, including Azure development.
- Hands-on experience with Angular and/or React, Azure Logic Apps, Function Apps, Storage, Static Web Apps, ADFS, and Azure programming.
- Experience building or deploying AI-enabled or data-intensive systems and internal enterprise platforms or tools is advantageous.
- Experience with ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#/.NET, ADO.NET, Entity Framework, MFC, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, XML, AJAX, PL/SQL, SQL, ASP.NET MVC, web services, API programming, and client programming.
- Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, AI-first software development lifecycle processes, report building in .NET, Oracle PL/SQL, and Microsoft SQL Server query languages.
- Experience with unit, integration, and regression testing, test case writing, documentation, application troubleshooting, requirements analysis, estimation, and technical support.
- Ability to work with little or no supervision, collaborate with business and data science teams, and lead project teams and end users.
- Willingness to travel up to 15% domestically and internationally, including overnight stays.
