Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the full-stack design and development of product features from definition through delivery.
- Build scalable, efficient, usable, and extensible experiences using native AWS services.
- Develop capabilities for complex employee life events, including intelligent issue detection, routing, service extension, and resolution orchestration.
- Drive execution of three-year architecture plans and make tradeoff decisions between long-term vision and near-term customer impact.
- Partner with SDE-IIIs, Principal Engineers, software development managers, product managers, and multiple teams to deliver organizational goals.
- Mentor SDE-Is, coach peers on engineering excellence and leadership principles, and train teammates on the team’s software.
- Create reusable processes and designs that improve efficiency, development speed, and quality across teams.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
