Base Salary
$250k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own complete product surfaces from conception to production, including backend systems, frontend interfaces, AI integrations, and related components.
- Ship production AI products that automate complex workflows for thousands of service businesses.
- Drive multi-month initiatives and make product and technical decisions balancing user needs, business impact, and technical excellence.
- Design architectures and scalable systems capable of supporting 100 times current usage.
- Set standards for product quality, technical craftsmanship, and user experience across the engineering organization.
- Integrate AI frameworks into customer-facing products and make critical decisions about architecture, infrastructure, and tooling.
- Work directly with customers to understand workflows and translate pain points into shipped products.
- Partner with leadership on product strategy and prioritization tied to revenue growth.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, product critiques, and technical leadership.
Requirements
- 7+ years of product engineering experience shipping customer-facing products end-to-end.
- Deep expertise building complete product experiences across the stack.
- Track record of building 0-to-1 products that reached meaningful scale, ideally as a founding or early engineer.
- Expert-level coding fundamentals and strong judgment about technical trade-offs and quality investments.
- Battle-tested experience shipping production AI/ML products.
- Strong product instincts and the ability to make high-stakes decisions with incomplete information.
- Experience translating ambiguous customer problems into impactful solutions.
- Strong technical communication with engineering and business stakeholders.
- Experience setting product quality standards and raising the engineering bar.
- Experience as a product or technical leader who provides guidance to others.
- Ability to operate in high-growth, high-ambiguity environments and context-switch across product areas.
- Genuine interest in improving the home-services industry and willingness to engage directly with customers in the field.
