Responsibilities

  • Deliver highly complex software solutions with significant system linkages, dependencies, and risk.
  • Perform analysis, requirements refinement, design, coding, configuration, integration, unit testing, implementation, maintenance, and escalated production support.
  • Develop code according to Product Owner acceptance criteria and support integration and functional testing.
  • Automate manual and reusable tasks and apply continuous engineering practices to deliver business value.
  • Support mission-critical production applications, resolve issues, and implement additional features.
  • Provide technical consultation on challenging situations and recommend best practices and innovative solutions.
  • Mentor less experienced teammates, provide knowledge transfer to production support, and contribute to architectural and project design.
  • Use CI/CD and repository-management tools to deliver code to production environments.
  • Build proof-of-concept solutions using evolving technologies and customer-focused designs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field plus 6 years of progressive experience in software engineering or IT consulting, or 8 years of such experience in lieu of the degree.
  • Apply in-depth information-systems knowledge and understanding of business processes and competitive strategies to implement IT best practices.
  • Demonstrate broad functional knowledge of requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and application deployment.
  • Plan and manage projects, solve complex problems, support production applications, and provide direction and mentoring to less experienced teammates.
  • Experience with C#, .NET, .NET Core, RESTful and SOAP web services, API development, Postman, Angular, React, Node.js, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, MySQL, MS SQL Server, AWS, CI/CD tools, and repository-management tools.
  • Experience with Jenkins, SVN, GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket, and Team Foundation Server.
  • Experience with Rally, Jira, and Adobe Experience Platform products including RT-CDP, Analytics/Customer Journey Analytics, Offers Decision Engine, Audience Builder, Target, and Journey Optimizer.
