Responsibilities
- Develop software for spacecraft simulations and environment simulations.
- Integrate software with human-computer interfaces and flight computer data interfaces.
- Build custom development and integration tools.
- Support human spaceflight programs or internal research and development projects.
- Perform hands-on problem solving and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interest in software development, initiative, and aptitude for hands-on problem solving.
- U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency due to the federal nature of the position.
- Desired: software development experience in a Linux environment.
- Desired: working knowledge of C++ and Python.
- Desired: experience with source control, unit testing, issue tracking, and continuous integration tools.
