Responsibilities
- Collaborate with front-end and back-end engineers to deliver prototype and production-quality products.
- Create intuitive and reliable user interfaces.
- Ensure graphic standards and brand consistency across customer touchpoints.
- Implement responsive design for various devices and screen sizes.
- Refactor existing code for improved performance and readability.
- Utilize state management libraries to manage application state.
- Implement front-end security best practices.
- Conduct unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality.
- Inform processes for maintainability and performance of the front-end stack.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Deep expertise in modern client Javascript, HTML 5, CSS, and Browser Dev Tools.
- Practical knowledge of DNS, HTTP, and OAuth2 protocols.
- Experience with git, bash, Docker, and Python web server development.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Proven experience building external customer-facing products.
- Self-directed with strong opinions and work ethic.
- Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Preferred: 10+ years of experience.
- Preferred: Experience with Highcharts, Bootstrap 5+, and building SPAs or PWAs.
