Responsibilities
- Collaborate with front-end and back-end engineers to rapidly deliver prototype and production-quality products.
- Build simple, intuitive, performant, reliable, and enjoyable user interfaces for dashboards, websites, and products.
- Maintain high graphic standards and brand consistency across customer touchpoints.
- Implement responsive designs across devices and screen sizes.
- Refactor code to improve performance, structure, and readability.
- Use state management libraries and patterns such as Redux and Context API.
- Apply front-end security practices including input validation and secure coding standards.
- Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using appropriate frameworks and tools.
- Perform and participate in code reviews.
- Help define processes that improve maintainability, quality, and performance across the front-end stack.
- Own the front-end architecture as an early technical hire and help shape engineering culture.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience; 10+ years is preferred.
- Deep expertise in modern client-side JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and browser developer tools.
- Practical knowledge of DNS, HTTP, and OAuth2.
- Experience with Git, Bash, Docker, and Python web server development.
- Experience building external customer-facing products.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and define the path forward.
- Preferred experience with Highcharts and Bootstrap 5+.
- Preferred experience building a JavaScript SPA and/or PWA.
- Full-stack engineering capabilities are preferred.
