Base Salary
$174k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write and test product or system development code.
- Review other engineers’ code for style, correctness, testability, efficiency, and adherence to best practices.
- Contribute to and update technical documentation and educational content.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues affecting hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
- Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to evaluate technology options.
- Analyze system performance, profile software, and identify bottlenecks in embedded systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Five years of experience in low-level systems programming languages such as C++ or C.
- Three years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
- One year of experience with software design and architecture.
- Three years of experience working with embedded operating systems.
- Experience with performance analysis, system profiling, and identifying software bottlenecks.
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: Five years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: One year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Preferred: Experience developing accessible technologies.
Benefits
- US base salary of $174000-$252000, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
