Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain AI agents, RAG pipelines, MCP servers, and LLM-based applications using Python and AWS.
- Build production-ready generative AI applications and agentic workflows with tool use, orchestration, memory, validation, and controlled permissions.
- Develop RAG data flows covering document ingestion, preprocessing, embeddings, indexing, retrieval, and response grounding.
- Integrate AI solutions with CI/CD workflows, source control, enterprise APIs, repositories, testing frameworks, security tools, and remediation systems.
- Use AWS services including Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, API Gateway, and SageMaker to deploy and operate AI applications.
- Support LLM-based code generation, code review, code transformation, defect identification, and remediation workflows.
- Apply application security, authentication, authorization, least-privilege controls, input and output validation, secrets protection, and AI security practices.
- Evaluate and optimize AI solution accuracy, relevance, latency, reliability, cost, security, scalability, maintainability, and cloud resource usage.
- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, security, architecture, and business stakeholders to define requirements, review designs, and resolve implementation issues.
- Document AI architecture, data flows, agent behavior, tool permissions, dependencies, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of overall professional experience in software engineering, cloud engineering, AI engineering, data engineering, or related technology roles.
- At least 3 years of hands-on AI experience involving LLMs, GenAI, Python, RAG pipelines, AI agents, or related AI application development.
- Strong professional Python experience covering application design, API development, automation, data processing, testing, and production deployment.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and GenAI, including OpenAI, Bedrock, or similar technologies.
- Experience engineering RAG pipelines with SageMaker, Lambda, vector databases, embeddings, document processing, retrieval, and response generation.
- Experience developing MCP servers, integrating tools and services, and building agentic workflows or autonomous AI agents.
- Experience deploying AI applications on AWS using services such as Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, API Gateway, and SageMaker.
- Experience applying application security principles, secure coding, identity and access controls, vulnerability assessment, and remediation practices.
- Experience integrating AI agents and architecture into AWS-based CI/CD workflows.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field is preferred, but equivalent relevant experience, production implementations, open-source contributions, training, or applied project delivery may be considered.
- Preferred experience includes JavaScript or TypeScript, shell scripting, relational or NoSQL databases, GitHub, Jenkins, Harness, Snyk, SonarQube, Docker, Kubernetes, security automation, automated testing, vulnerability scanning, and remediation systems.
- AWS, AI, machine learning, cloud architecture, security, or related certifications and role-relevant training are preferred but not required.
