Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain production-grade AI applications and services.
- Define and implement reusable platforms and tools such as conversational bots, AI-powered search, unstructured-data processing, and GenBI systems.
- Build and deploy AI solutions in collaboration with multifunctional teams and business stakeholders.
- Evaluate and integrate LLMs, vector databases, retrieval-augmented generation, AI agents, and related APIs into robust applications.
- Automate data ingestion, preprocessing, evaluation, model integration, and deployment workflows.
- Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and engineers to deliver reliable AI products end to end.
- Contribute to internal knowledge bases, tooling libraries, documentation, and standardized AI engineering practices.
Requirements
- Extensive professional software engineering experience with the ability to independently design and ship complex production systems.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages, including experience with microservices, APIs, and backend systems.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, cloud infrastructure, and modern DevOps practices.
- Experience integrating machine learning models into production systems, including LLM APIs, fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, and agents.
- Ability to balance engineering rigor, code quality, test coverage, operational reliability, and delivery speed.
- Preferred familiarity with LangChain, Haystack, Hugging Face, Weaviate, LlamaIndex, Crew AI, AutoGen, or similar tools.
- Preferred experience building RAG applications, AI agents, chatbots, search systems, generative AI interfaces, or reliable production AI applications.
- Preferred experience processing unstructured documents, conversations, and images into structured data.
- Preferred background in platform engineering, internal developer tools, or embedded/forward-deployed teams serving business customers.
