Responsibilities
- Advance state-of-the-art ultra-realistic autonomous vehicle simulations using foundation models.
- Collaborate with Waymo Oxford teams to use large models to improve simulation realism.
- Design experiments that advance autonomous vehicle simulation capabilities.
- Develop metrics to measure the realism of simulated worlds.
- Train and evaluate large models and integrate them into the simulator and downstream applications.
- Help hire research engineers from diverse backgrounds.
- Collaborate with research engineering teams to productionize research ideas.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in applied deep learning.
- 5+ years of coding and design experience.
- Experience solving complex production problems using state-of-the-art machine learning techniques.
- Experience taking research into production.
- Expertise in data analysis or data science.
