Base Salary
$121k - $182k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on implementation approaches for enterprise web applications leveraging blockchain technology.
- Deliver functional application scope while meeting quality standards and stakeholder requirements.
- Apply design patterns and best practices for enterprise web and web3 applications.
- Maintain technical documentation and support application management and deployment activities.
- Identify, resolve, and escalate issues to support timely, on-budget, high-quality project delivery.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with distributed engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering is required; a master’s degree in computer science or a related discipline is a plus.
- 4–7 years of experience across the software development and testing lifecycle.
- 3–5 years of backend web development experience using Java and Spring.
- Experience developing web applications with asynchronous programming and communication.
- Knowledge of reliability, scalability, performance, data structures, algorithms, design patterns, testing, code reviews, and maintainable code.
- Hands-on experience building enterprise-grade commercial web applications.
- Web3 application development, Web3J, Web3JS, Solidity, and web3 application best practices are preferred.
- Familiarity with DevOps fundamentals, containerized applications, Git, Jira, Jenkins, and Helm Charts is preferred.
- Financial services experience and familiarity with Agile methodology and Scrum are preferred.
