Responsibilities
- Architect and design scalable warehouse integration infrastructure.
- Build and own core backend services and APIs for warehouse connectivity.
- Establish design patterns and best practices for warehouse integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define integration roadmaps.
- Lead technical design reviews and author tech specs for integration work.
- Mentor backend engineers through code reviews and design discussions.
- Communicate complex system decisions to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Improve reliability and operational maturity of warehouse integrations.
- Participate in on-call rotation to support production systems.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional backend software engineering experience.
- Expertise in distributed systems design and implementation.
- Strong programming proficiency in Go, Java, Rust, or C++.
- Solid understanding of domain modeling and system design principles.
- Experience designing and building scalable APIs.
- Proficiency with observability best practices in distributed systems.
- Familiarity with modern data warehouse and analytics platforms is a bonus.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools for managing cloud infrastructure.
- Commitment to software quality including automated testing and code reviews.
- Excellent communication skills in technical discussions and cross-functional collaboration.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop other engineers.
