Base Salary

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain the DIVER, BDSQL, METASTOR, and FASTOLA software products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions aligned with business requirements.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical strategy.
Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and adherence to software development best practices.
Support production systems and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Identify and resolve technical risks, cross-team dependencies, and infrastructure maintenance challenges.
Develop and improve cloud infrastructure, data storage, software systems, and operational processes.
Help define and deliver short-, mid-, and long-term team goals.
Build collaborative relationships with senior internal and external partners and demonstrate FINRA’s values.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, with at least five years of related experience, or equivalent training and/or work experience.
Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithm design, problem solving, complexity analysis, and data structures.
Strong experience with big data engineering, object-oriented development, system design, cloud technologies, and data storage technologies.
Experience with performance tuning and optimization, DevOps and CI/CD technologies, test automation, unit testing, and software security.
Experience designing and developing software with AWS services, programming languages, databases, APIs, and frontend technologies.
Ability to work independently on broad, complex problems requiring judgment, creativity, and technical decision-making.
